Telltale Games is Releasing a Batman Game in 2016

Next year, Telltale Games is ready to add The Dark Knight to its slew of awesome episodic games as a brief trailer was shown during The Game Awards 2015. Not many details were revealed during the trailer as it was a voice over talking about rising crime, economy issues, an unnamed billionaire playboy, while watercolor images painted images of what they were talking about. The trailer eventually faded to black and revealed the iconic bat logo. With the success of every episodic IP Telltale takes on from Game of Thrones, to Borderlands, and many more, we can’t wait to hear more about whats to come for the Batman.

This was revealed from Telltale’s official blog, “At Telltale, we’ve been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.”

Look for Telltale Games to bring the Bat to a console, PC and mobile device near you sometime next year.
