At San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, details have emerged regarding the story campaign of the latest entry into the first-person shooting franchise Battlefield, Battlefield Hardline. According to a report from Polygon, Hardline’s story will follow a pair of good cops turned bad as they’re set up, framed, are landed in prison, and forced to fight their way out in order to get their revenge. In a video shown to panel attendees, urban backdrops set the scene as the lead cops raid a cocaine warehouse somewhere in the desert. The crime lord Roark is the boss, and sets up quite an opposition for the duo to take down, not exactly hospitable of his new guests.

Eugene Byrd (Bones), Kelly Hu (Arrow), and Benito Martinez (The Shield) lead the cast, with Roark performed by The Departed’s Mark Rolston. Finally, Wendy Calhoun of Justified co-producer credits comes on as narrative consultant, and The West Wing’s editor Bill Johnson joins as performance director. Battlefield Hardline is expected for release on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on Mark 30th, 2015.
