SDCC 2014: The Next Mass Effect Might Be About You

Gamers might have been keeping their fingers crossed that Mass Effect 4 would feature the legendary Commander Shepard, unfortunately it’s been confirmed that Shepard will have no part in the latest installment. Instead, it seems that the story will be centric on a new character that will have some involvement in N7 – a branch of military for those who excel in both special forces but being kick ass, which fans will remember Shepard was a part of.

That might leave one to wonder who the heck the title will be about, and while spectating could lead anywhere hints have been dropped that the next Mass Effect might be about.. well, gamers. Andrea Rene of the Escapist showed off pictures of a customizable hero titled “your hero” and a picture of the brand new Mako, referred to as “your Mako”. This might mean even more customizable options are abound, however, questions won’t be answered for some time.. if ever. BioWare made it clear that Mass Effect 4 is still a few years off and anything could change in that time.
