Alternative Harley Quinn Cosplay is Hot Stuff

The character is a frequent accomplice and girlfriend of the Joker and a girlfriend of the super villain Poison Ivy, from whom Harley Quinn gained an immunity to poisons and toxins. Harley Quinn’s origin story relates that she met the Joker while working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, where the Joker was a patient. Her name is a play on the name “Harlequin,” a character which originated in the commedia dell’arte.

Known for her iconic black and red clothes – Harley is an instantly identifiable character no matter what style or form her clothing takes. Ibukii has made a super cute Harley version that is almost a cross between bunny suit and burlesque – finely tailored leotard in Harley’s standard color blocking, alternating black/red accessories, and her white collar. Even the hair bands on her blonde pigtails are alternating black and red – such attention to detail! I’m in love!
