A Knockout Cosplay of Street Fighter’s Ibuki
She’s a pocket rocket ninja, who was born and raised in a Japanese village hidden away from the prying eyes of society where she was trained to be an expert and the deadly art of ninjutsu. Even though she is a well-trained ninja, she is still a normal teenage girl, and states on several occasions that she finds her ninja garments ugly and her daily training strange. Meet Ibuki, the young woman from Japan with a notable interest in boys and a pet raccoon dog named Tanuki.
There’s one thing that Street Fighter cosplayers do really well and that is going to town in bringing the characters to life. At conventions, you will often see your favourite character, whether it is Cammy or even the lovely Ibuki as cosplayed by Riinechan. In photoshoots, the photographer and the cosplayer collaborate to in creating a memorable fighting sequence with multiple shots edited together (known also as the Brenzier method) and loads of cool effects. Brazilian cosplayer Riinechan has done what Street Fighter cosplayers do well and that is craft a unique yet iconic cosplay combined with a photo shoot setting that matches the characters identity. And the result? A Street Fighter cosplay that is a knock out.
