Entourage Movie Trailer Looks Like More of the Show

Sometimes the idea of an Entourage feature film of the popular HBO show sounds like fun. Sometimes it seems obnoxious and futile. How does the latest trailer for the film make me feel? Honestly, I go back and forth.

But if it’s a feature length, feature film budgeted helping of more of the same Entourage fans are looking for, it looks like they won’t be disappointed.

Vince is still ego-tripping all over his career, E is struggling to balance his family life, Turtle is still the butt monkey, Drama is still crude and Ari is still wheeling and dealing for the whole gang. Not to mention yacht-fulls of beautiful, scantily clad women.

Part of what made the HBO show work was the exposure of really, mundane silly details of everyday life in the context of Hollywood high rollers. They were given the chance to play out over the course of each episode but a feature film has to be a bit more neatly tied up, especially since it will likely be a final theatrical send off for the series.

But of course, the other really fun aspect of the show that a film will have no problem with is cameos. And the trailer has cameos galore, actors and actresses and celebrities from a whole bunch of sectors of entertainment, all playing themselves.

They include Calvin Harris, Jessica Alba, Russell Wilson, Emily Ratajkowski, Liam Neeson (flipping off the camera from his car, HAHA!), Ronda Rousey, Pharrell Williams, George Takei, Andrew Dice Clay, David Spade, Warren Buffet, Armie Hammer, Tom Brady, Kelsey Grammer, Ed O’neill, T.I. and Mark Wahlberg as well as untitled sightings of Bob Saget, Gary Busey, Haley Joel Osment and Billy Bob Thornton.

Check out the trailer for yourself below. Entourage the movie hits theaters June 5th.
