Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Announced! High Five Bro!

Looks like EA is taking another stab at the Army of Two franchise with the announcement of Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel. With the third game in the series, they are taking a more intense, gritty and mature approach to the game as they are calling it a reboot to the series. Being developed by Dead Space developer Visceral Games this time around and also using DICE’s frost bite engine, this sounds like EA is really pulling some great elements together to make a pretty awesome game.

In the deadly streets of Mexico, Alpha and Bravo, two mercenaries working for Tactical Worldwide Operations are dropped in the middle of a drug war between drug cartels. The Devil’s Cartel is going for a more serious nature and less fist bumping Dudebro antics.

Get ready to co-op it up when Army of Two: The Devils Cartel is set to launch on March 2013 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
