Dark Souls II Black Armour and Collector’s Edition will be Exclusively for Pre-orders!
Namco Bandai has officially clarified that both the Black Armour Edition and the Collector’s Edition of Dark Souls 2 will not be available in store and can only be purchased through pre-order. The number of editions actually produce will directly coincide with the amount of pre-orders place, meaning once the collections “are gone, they are gone.”
Darks Souls II is not meant to be a direct sequel (though possibly linked in an unspecified way) to Dark Souls, and instead will center on a cursed protagonist in search for a cure to his agony.
Pre-orders will be limited so it is best to get yours in before they are all gone. The game will be available March 2014 for PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. The Black Armour Edition will be the standard $59.99, while the Collector’s Edition will run you about $120 bucks.
