EA Backs the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for Four More Years!

It has been confirmed by Blake Jorgensen, EA’s Chief financial officer that, Electronic Arts will continue to support the Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3 for the next four years. Jorgensen also divulged that EA would also be supporting next generation consoles until 2017. This information came out of a keynote address made by Blake Jorgensen at the Stifel 2013 Technology Conference in New York.

It was also noted that several games are already underway for current generation consoles. Gamers can expect to see Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, and Need for Speed on consoles already in their homes. A quick calculation shows that this would lengthen the current generation life span an additional twelve years.
