According to a post by Senior Product Manager for Square Enix on the official Playstation Blog, the official released date has been revealed for the Playstation Vita version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, and luckily it is will be right alongside the Playstation 3 release on March 18, 2014! Fans can purchase the Vita version of Final Fantasy X (which will include a voucher for a downloadable copy of Final Fantasy X-2) for $39.99 in stores, or they can download the combo pack from the Playstation Store.

In addition to the wonderful Vita news, details for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Collector’s Edition for Playstation 3 have also been revealed! The Collector’s Edition, which will be available exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store, will include a treasure trove of goodies for the ultimate Final Fantasy X/X-2 fan. In addition to a copy of both games, fans will receive a 40-page hardcover art book featuring tons of character, background and environment, and concept art from all around Spira. Also included is a second disk filled with the soundtrack from Final Fantasy X, though it is more than just your standard soundtrack. This blu-ray music disk contains more than six hours of music set to images from Final Fantasy X, taking you on an emotional stroll down memory lane with Tidus and the gang. There are also five lithographs of art for fans to drool over or frame.

The Collector’s Edition will be available for $79.99, and copies are limited, so if you just have to have it I would recommend pre-ordering one quick! Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available on March 18, 2014 on Playstation 3 and PS Vita.
