And now it’s time for some feel good news to get you through the Monday. Over the weekend, a Redditor found an English sounding name in the credits for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Corey Bunnell, who alongside Shogo Kihara was the Wildlife Programmer. While it’s rare to see a Western name in the credits like that, what’s even more interesting is that Corey had finally fulfilled a life long dream of his.

Let’s go back to the year 2007, when Translators Cafe message board user Corey Bunnell was asking about Japan. Bunnell, who had just graduated high school at the time, wanted to know how he could start going to school in Japan. “My dream”, the post explained, “is to live in Japan and work for Nintendo as a game designer.”

Well, spoiler alert it would appear that his dream came true. As Kyoto Report stated, Corey graduated from Ritsumeikan University and joined Nintendo in 2014, which he’s been a part of ever since. Congratulations Corey on following your dreams! And to those of you who are unsure about following your dream of going to Japan, let this story serve as your inspiration that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Like working on one of Nintendo’s biggest and most revered games released in the last ten years.
