When Grand Theft Auto V originally hit shelves for the PS3 and 360, the stellar gameplay and content was maimed by the limitations of the technology at the time, although still an excellent game, winning numerous Game of the Year awards, Rockstar hopes to rectify the technological shortcomings with GTAV’s rerelease on PC’s later this year. In addition to the enhanced graphics, taking advantage of the latest in graphical hardware, Grand Theft Auto V for PC will include denser traffic, advanced weather and damage effects, enhanced AI, and greater draw distances, which caused issues with some players when flying or going at high speeds as they would hit objects before the console had a chance to render them on screen.

Additionally, all the new content for the 360 and PS3 versions of GTA Online, such as jobs, weapons, vehicles and the like will also be available at launch, with players given the option of transferring their GTA Online console progress to the PC version. This feature is also available for the PS4 and Xbox One as well. Grand Theft Auto V is set to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.
