Media Playback Features and More Coming to PS4

New features coming to PS4 soon, word has come from industry insider Tidux where they have been teasing some very interesting details on new updates coming to PS4 that will include new features. Some of these features are already available on PS3. When they were asked on when details about regarding the update would be shared they stated “before/around Gamescom 2014.”

From the way Tidux has responded to people asking what being added, it looks as though we’ll be getting Media Playback, a feature that has existed within the PS3 for many years. It’s worth noting that PlayStation bosses said that they would add the media features in at some point but were focusing efforts on games, hopefully they get these media features out of the way so we can get the suspend or resume function that players are eagerly awaiting.
