New 15 Minute Video of Battleborn Shows Off New Character Montana

Today a new video was released showing off some new gameplay for Battleborn, the newest upcoming online shooter from Gearbox Studios, the developer behind the Borderlands series. The video, courtesy of EGMNOW, can be seen below and focuses on the character Montana.

Montana is a big, brutish character whose main weapon is a giant gatling gun, akin to the Heavy in Team Fortress 2. However, unlike the Heavy, Montana has a dashing ability that lets him get up close and personal with his enemies, or make a break for it if things get tough. Naturally, this dash is on a cooldown so using it effectively will be the key to victory. Overall, it looks like Montana is the kind of character for players who want to deal a lot of powerful, consistent damage without worrying to much about taking damage themselves. A tank character if you will.

Battleborn is set to release on February 9, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
