Minecraft lead developer Jens Bergensten recently took to Twitter to reveal a new cape item for Minecraft. But this isn’t just a cosmetic piece of equipment, but rather it will enable anyone who wears it to fly. What a time to be alive.

According to Bergensten, the cape is not craftable, unlike most items in Minecraft, but rather can be found in game, though where or how he didn’t say. He even posted a couple of gifs of flying in action, which you can check out below, and while I’ve never been into Minecraft, I do admit it looks really cool in action. Not much is known about when the cape will be available or for what systems it’ll be a part of, but it’ll most likely be a part of Minecraft 1.9, which is currently being worked on.

Minecraft is available now for PC, Mac, iOS, Android, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
