Grand Theft Auto Online’s UpcomingUpdate Will Let You Steal Expensive Cars

Rockstar announced today that Grand Theft Auto Online would be getting a new update that would involve stealing cars. While some of you are scratching you head wondering if that’s the entire point of the series, this update adds the ability to steal some of the game’s high price cars and sell them for some sweet cash.

“Savvy CEOs know there’s always more for the taking”, Rockstar said on their website earlier today. “While Special Cargo business in Southern San Andreas is booming, another opportunity to expand your hold on the city awaits. With GTA Online: Import/Export it’s time to muscle into the lucrative and specialized field of high-volume exotic car theft.”

With this new update, players will be able to steal and sell some of the game’s rarest cars in the hope of making as much money as possible, but as Rockstar themselves say, it won’t be easy. “It will take talent, coordination, and the tactical use of some brand-new special vehicles to get the job done, all while staying one step ahead of the police and rival challengers from across the city and countryside,” Rockstar said.

Currently, there’s no word on when the update will go live, but Rockstar is promising to reveal new details soon. Grand Theft Auto Online is part of Grand Theft Auto V, which is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
