New Playstation 4 Reveals Teased by Sony CEO for Gamescom!
Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) promised to reporters today that new games will be shown during the Sony press conference at Gamescom this coming August. In an interview with Game Reactor, Ryan mentioned that a lot was shown at E3 but some things need to remain secret, at least for a little longer. Ryan quickly backed up his statement by announcing some statistics about Shu Yoshida’s (SCE World Studios boss) gaming development. “He has–just his studios–30 games in development. 20 of them are going to ship within the first year of the console’s life, and of those, 12 are new IP.”
So, based off this interview, patrons attending Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, have some pretty big surprises waiting for them coming from Sony. What effect these new reveals will have on the public opinion of the upcoming Playstation 4 is not certain, but it can be assumed that support for the system will bolster, if not grow even stronger.
