July’s schedule for PlayStation Plus has been revealed, with the new format that Sony explained last month. All of the six games will be released on the same day and available for the whole month, this method will be the same as how Europe have had it since the launch of the PlayStation Plus scheme. The list was revealed when it appeared on the PlayStation YouTube channel, the video has since been removed but a user managed to grab the full list.
So what can we expect, well for PS4 players will be able to play the critically acclaimed TowerFall Ascension as well as the 2D action game Strider, which is a revival of the long dormant franchise. PS3 players will be able to delve into the horror of space with Dead Space 3, which introduced co-op mode, as well as Vessel the indie platformer that emphasizes on physics-based puzzles. Vita players will be able to go portable with the wacky Doki-Doki Universe and Muramasa Rebirth.
The only difference for Europe is the Vita title being switched with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, which will be a nice change as both territories have had a huge difference each month, hopefully with this new format players all over the world can enjoy the same games together. All six games will be released on July 1, the first Tuesday of the month, while Europe will get the games a day later on July 2.
