ReCore is the next game in line to receive high-dynamic range support for the Xbox One S. We can probably expect more and more first-party Microsoft games to receive HDR support as Microsoft continues to give fans a good reason to upgrade to the Xbox One S.
The news that ReCore would be the next in line to receive HDR support comes from a tweet by Xbox Studios GM Shannon Loftis. Loftis revealed that support for HDR would be added in the new year. This was later confirmed by by a tweet from Xbox technical director Mike Ybarra, saying, “Recore with HDR? Yes, it’s coming.”
Some other first-party titles that include HDR support are Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4. For fans to actually utilize HDR, however, they must upgrade to the Xbox One S. As more and more games take advantage of the extra power that the Xbox One S provides, upgrading is just going to become a better deal, especially if you have a 4k TV to take full advantage of the extra power.
ReCore is out now for the Xbox One and PC.
@ReCoreGame should get the HDR update in the new year. Hope you love this game as much as I do. A-OK!
