Red Dead Redemption Now Available On PlayStation Now

With the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 coming next year, Sony has announced that Red Dead Redemption will be added to PlayStation Now. This is a great chance to play the original again before the sequel releases on PlayStation 4 or PC.

While this is still a great opportunity to play the original game, it isn’t the full remaster that fans have been craving since the console generation got underway. Still, if Rockstar see enough of a market to remaster Red Dead Redemption, then it could still happen. For now, though, PlayStation Now and Xbox One backward compatibility are the only way to play the game on a modern console.

I know I’m excited for Red Dead Redemption 2 to finally launch next year. Until then,  I may just wander the old west by going back playing the first game. Ridding around on horses and robbing banks is one of those things that just never gets old.

Red Dead Redemption will be available on PlayStation Now “soon” and Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to launch in fall of 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
