Titanfall is receiving a batch of three DLC packs that will contain brand new maps for players to enjoy. One of these is already out, while the second piece of the Frontier’s Edge DLC is getting closer to its release date. We’ve gotten slight details on the maps, but developer Respawn Entertainment gave a lot more insight into one of the specific maps within Frontier’s Edge. This map will be known as Export, and we got a detailed description of it on the game’s official website that read as such:

“The nearby mines fueled this large Militia settlement, an important exporting hub built on the side of a mountain that recalls the gold rush boom-towns from centuries earlier.” It further goes into the map’s backstory and history before discussing the practical uses of it for players: “Pilots use [the close-quarter, house-to-house combat] to their advantage by using quick wall-hops on the close structures to gain speed and height, then engage enemies from the low rooftops. Titans can lock down sections of the town by leveraging natural choke points, and often fight up a steep incline that leads to a commanding view of the town below.”

You’ll be able to get a closer sneak peek at the map when Respawn plays Frontier’s Edge on Twitch live on July 23rd. The second DLC will be releasing sometime in August or September for $9.99.
