SDCC 2014: Microsoft Release Trailer For Halo Nightfall

Microsoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming live-action Halo digital feature, Nightfall produced by sci-fi legend Ridley Scott. The trailer linked below shows Naval Intelligence officer Agent Jameson Locke, referred to as a “legendary manhunter,” who is sent to investigate a broken Halo installation that becomes the source of mystery when a biological attack targets the human race. Locke and his team must find the bio-weapon, and destroy it.

Locke is being played by Mike Colter, who had previously appeared in The Good Wife, Zero Dark Thirty, and Ringer, and is being joined by Christina Chong, who is in 24 and Star Wars: Episode VII who will be playing a member of the Colonial Guard. Microsoft has also confirmed that Locke will be a playable character in Halo 5: Guardian.

Nightfall is set to release this fall, and will be included in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One which is set for release on November 11th in North America, and November 14th in the UK.
