Sony Japan Shows Excitement for The Taken King with Silly Commercial

Leave it to the Japanese to make an outrageous Destiny: The Taken King commercial, but hey, there’s no denying that this is quite an entertaining one. Woman are falling out of their seats, people are screaming into washers, and there’s cosplay — or maybe wearing Destiny armor is more of a lifestyle, that is definitely on fleek. Japanese actor, Ryo Katsuji, busts into a laundromat dressed head to toe in Guardian gear. It’s a very dedicated and thoughtful way to ask your friends to play Destiny: The Taken King with you — considering he had to obtain the gear to wear in order to push his point just that much more over the edge.

One might not be surprised to hear that the commercial is entirely in Japanese, so subtitles will definitely help if you’re not fluent in the language. Don’t take my word on the hilarity, feel free to check out the commercial in the video below.

Destiny: The Taken King releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on September 15th.
