Sony Provides Additional Details on Upcoming PS4 Update 2.0
The fabled update 2.0 for the PlayStation 4 hasn’t come out yet, though Sony keeps teasing the details. By now, most of you probably have some idea of what the update will entail; things like themes for your PS4 background, the YouTube app finally making its debut, etc. However, there’s even more to look forward to, according to Sony in a recent post on the PlayStation Blog. The post details some more features we can expect.
Aside from those two that I mentioned, the update will also include the feature to play music off of USB thumb drives. On the personalization side, you can change the color of the home screen to suit your tastes. The update will come with other additional improvements and tweaks, such as an improved content area, better voice commands, and friend recommendations. This big update has been codenamed ‘Masamune’. When we can expect it is still up in the air, though it should arrive sometime before 2015 starts. We’ll just have to wait patiently for Masamune to make its appearance.
