According to images posted online, a number of new games, “as well as the beginnings of a ‘rental’ system,” have appeared in the latest update to Sony’s cloud-based streaming service, PlayStation Now. According to the images PlayStation Now will offer gamers the chance to rent games for one, seven or 30 days starting from, “the first time you play the game.” The service is currently still in beta testing and the prices shown are most likely not representative of final prices.
Additionally a whole bunch of new games were also added to the ever expanding PlayStation Now back catalogue bringing the total count up to an impressive 20 games. The newest additions include:

- Contrast
- Eat Them!
- FUEL
- GRID
- Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
- LUMINES: Supernova
- NIGHTS Into Dreams…
- PixelJump Racers 2nd Lap
- PixelJunk Shooter 2
- Puppeteer
- Retro/Grade
- Sniper Elite V2
Anyone interested in joining the PlayStation Now initiative can apply for access via the link here, but be warned, “PlayStation Now is currently only available as a beta application in select parts of the United States on select platforms.
