Splatoon Gets New Weapon Update Tonight

Splatoon is getting a new weapon update later this evening, bringing the rapid fire mayhem of the Mini Splatling to the ink slinging shoot fest. Sending out a torrent of ink in a short amount of time, the mini splatling isn’t the most mobile of weapons, but with some good defenders can make short work on the enemy team with a hail of inkfire that just doesn’t let up. This new weapon follows a string of support and adjustments provided by Nintendo since the game’s release, including matchmaking and balancing fixes as well as adjustments to game modes and weapons.

The Mini Splatling will be headed to Splatoon tonight at 7PM PST, where it will join the full size Splatling already in the game. Together the two deliver a non-stop assault, flinging ink all over the enemy forces and their territory. Splatoon is available exclusively for the Wii U and is available now.
