Telltale Game Sheds Light On Upcoming Batman Game

With Telltale games already announcing the development of an episodic series featuring Batman the popular video game company has recently shed some light on the details regarding the upcoming game’s plot. At the SXSW gaming expo, the team at Telltale explained that the reason for a lack of visual showings of the game was the main factor for the game’s plot and script getting tackled on first.

While not much was shown for the game physically, Telltale did reveal they plan to up the ante on the game’s engine to provide a great visuals to the game. While further explaining the game’s plot, by elaborating how the choice system will affect both Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne. Players will have an freedom to make critical decisions as both characters will cause repercussions for one life seen across the other. With this interesting take on the choice system, Telltale has explained that the story is a modern analysis of the hero without all the past history as the story is expected to not be tied into any recent storybook arcs in the DC comics.

While Batman: A Telltale Game Series still has yet to have an official release date, Telltale has confirmed that the game will be available on mobile devices, as well as Mac and PC gamers, with the strong possibility that the game will see a release on major eighth generation consoles.
