Not that long ago, Bethesda dropped a trailer that instilled fear in gamers worldwide. The trailer was mysterious, yes, but one thing that was certain about it was how terrifying it was. Now Bethesda’s Pete Hines has teamed up with Sony to deliver about ten minutes of gameplay footage for The Evil Within. The mastermind behind Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami, is back at work and attempting to make players every scream, cry, pee their pants, or possibly a combination of all three with this survival horror game.

To keep gamers on edge, Bethesda has made is so monsters never travel the same path twice. What players will be facing in The Evil Within is not typical, as monsters are slightly more evolved and will pretend to play dead just to snatch helpless players up. The monstrosities in the game will also have the ability to set traps to catch gamers off guard, and one wrong turn could end a life in one hit.

The Evil Within will begin to scare players next year through the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Make sure you take a look at the trailer below!
