The Dwarven Lands Burn in This Total War: Warhammer Trailer

With a rich and illustrious lore behind it, the Warhammer series is a perfect fit for the articulation and precision gameplay of the Total War series, and in this cinematic trailer posted for the upcoming strategy game, we learn the struggle that will come for the lands of the Dwarven king Grudgebearer, lamenting the atrocities committed against his people by the orcs that stand poised at their gates. The Dwarven forces marche into combat all the same, forgetting not a single slight made against them.

We’ve seen a lot of production material surrounding the upcoming strategy game, glimpses of in game combat, character models, and plenty more, but with this cinematic trailer bringing the tone and feel of the Warhammer franchise into the Total War space, the hype for this strategy title is quickly building. Normally rooted in real-world history, the Total War franchise has taken us to the battlefields of Feudal Japan and Ancient Rome, but this marks the first time that a fantasy world has received the Total War touch. Total War: Warhammer is expected to be released on PC some time next year.
