The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has received its first patch since launch. It seems that the game has fixed some of the frame rate issues that have troubled the game since it launched.

Unfortunately, this is all based off player testimony. For whatever reason, Nintendo decided to be as vague as possible in their patch notes to the point they might have as well just not given patch notes. Here are the full patch notes:

“Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.” Not exactly a whole lot to go on there.

According to players, though, this was a great update. The update seems provide better frame rate when fighting Moblins (a known issue) and in areas with lots of grass and foliage (such as forests). Update 1.1.1 should apply automatically so long as your Switch or Wii U is connected to the internet. This is certainly one update worth downloading; improving frame rate is always good.
