In true next gen fashion, the upcoming survival horror game Daylight from Zombie Studios will allow Twitch users the chance to trigger in-game events in the games of other players in order to scare the daylights out of them (some pun intended). So how will it work exactly? One of the examples released gave the example that a person watching the stream could simply type the word “meow” into the Twitch chat, and a cat will suddenly cry and meow in the game.

Daylight, which is played from a first person perspective, takes a more traditional and simplistic approach to the horror genre, allowing the player only a cell phone with a flashlight (which means no weapons randomly scattered around to defend yourself) to help guide them through a creepy abandoned hospital.

The game is set to release on April 8 for Playstation 4 and PC for $14.99/€14.99/£11.99, and it was just recently revealed that both versions of the game would be 3D compatible.
