Both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One are getting new features tomorrow! For the 360, we’ll be getting a new app, while the Xbox One will be getting a useful new update to an existing app. Both of the updates involve videos. For the 360, the GoPro app is releasing. With it, you’ll be able to stream GoPro videos on the console. You’ll find all sorts of videos here, with a lot of them relating to sports and adventure. The GoPro app will be available tomorrow, April 7th, free of charge. You do need an Xbox Live Gold account for it, however.

The update I mentioned will be coming to the YouTube app on Xbox One. With this update, uploading videos from your games to YouTube will be quite easy. The update will integrate Game DVR and Upload with the YouTube app. After this, all you’ll need to do is use them in a three step process: Capture footage with Game DVR, edit footage in Upload Studio, and upload the video right to your YouTube account with the click of a button. The update also introduces Snap Mode for videos, Media achievements, and the addition of your favorite YouTube channels on OneGuide. This update, like GoPro, will be releasing tomorrow. Make sure to check both features out! The new additions to capturing game footage will be helpful for budding YouTube channels.
