Zelda: Breath of the Wild Will Be Shown At The 2016 Game Awards

Remember at the Game Awards in 2014 when Nintendo showed us our first look at the game that would be known as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Well, it looks the house of Mario is at again, this time going on social media to announce that we’ll get a brand new look at the game at this year’s Game Awards, which is going down this week.

“The Game Awards are just around the corner, and they’ll be bringing you an exclusive look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild“, Nintendo said on their Facebook page and Twitter accounts. Obviously, what that new look will be wasn’t revealed, but considering the Game Awards is this Thursday, we won’t have to wait too long.

The way Nintendo works at the Game Awards (or the Video Game Awards as they were known back when Spike ran it) can be hit or miss, like that one year when they announced Cranky Kong would be playable in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze while Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime wore a Metroid pin just to mess with fans, while last year Reggie was on stage to give a touching speech about former Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. We’ll see what Nintendo brings this year when the Game Awards, hosted by Geoff Kieghley air this Thursday, December 1st.
