Sumo Digital and Sony Entertainment have announced that all Marvel DLC for the LittleBigPlanet series will no longer be offered at the end of the year, so be sure to get your DLC before it’s gone forever. You will have until the end of Thursday, December 31 to download any of the Marvel-themed costume packs before Marvel’s licensing agreement ends.
Currently there are six Marvel costume packs released, four for the original LittleBigPlanet and two for LittleBigPlanet 2. There is also a Marvel level-creation kit for LittleBigPlanet and a Marvel Arcade Pack DLC for LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita. All of the previous DLC is available for the latest LittleBigPlanet 3 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
To send it off in style, Sony is having a sale on all Marvel DLC until they are gone. Costume packs are now $3.29 each instead of the usual $5.99. You can get the level kit for $2.74 instead of $4.99. And lastly the Marvel Arcade Pack for LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita will be half off at $2.74 instead of the usual $4.99.
