Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones

Lucasfilm President Confirms ‘Indiana Jones 5’ Will Happen

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that Disney has every intention of bringing the two-fisted archeologist back to the big screen, eventually.

“[It] will one day be made inside this company,” she said told Vanity Fair on Tuesday, May 5. “When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”

5 Things Disney Needs To Do To Make Indiana Jones 5 Great

Well, that’s something, right? Harrison Ford, who originally portrayed Indiana Jones is working with Kennedy on the new version as well. Starring Chris Pratt? Pratt had some thoughts on the idea from around Oscar season: “I don’t think it’s overwhelming to contemplate,” he added. “The pressure would come because it’s such a great franchise, and you wouldn’t want to get it wrong. It would have to be perfect to do it.”

Keeping fingers crossed.
