Metal Gear Online Is Now Live On Steam

Good news, Metal Gear V PC owners! Metal Gear Online is now live on Steam! Konami made the announcement today that the online multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now live for all Steam owners of the game. This news comes after a beta for Metal Gear Online went live last week. In addition, Konami also confirms that all the issues resulting in the beta going offline (which had to do with players exploiting the in-game microstransactions), have been fixed and everything is good to go. In addition, Konami also confirmed that they would be updating after launch, just like the console versions, and that if you play an online match between today, January 19th and January 26th of next week, you’ll be awarded 3000 Gear Points (GP) to use however you see fit.

Metal Gear Online is part of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which is available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
