Natalie Portman’s had success as an actress throughout her life in a wide variety of roles. From winning the hearts of fans and the minds of galactic denizens in the Star Wars prequels to scoring Oscar gold with her thrilling performance in Black Swan, Portman has become a very versatile star.
Next, it looks like she’ll be tackling a classic Hollywood genre in a western, with a dark contemporary aesthetic. The first trailer for Jane Got a Gun has arrived online after a discouraging history of actors and directors parting ways from the project. Gavin O’Connor will be the director to fully realize the production. The trailer should put any doubts to rest, since it looks pretty exciting.

Things get pretty tense when her ex fiancé (Joel Edgerton) is the only sympathetic alley she has.
