Good news, programs! Remember that new Tron game that was announced during last month’s Game Awards, Tron Run/r? Well, it appears that the game is also coming to consoles as well.
This confirmation comes via a new teaser trailer from the game, which you can check out below. Said new trailer doesn’t show much except a few snippets of gameplay, with the end revealing that game would not only be coming to PC (via Steam), but also would be coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. To be honest here, as a Tron fan I’m not sure how to feel about Tron Run/r. I mean it’s still too early to tell how it’ll play gameplay wise, but based on what was shown, I have to wonder why they’re making a Tron runner game without the light cycles. I mean, the light cycles are the one thing people associate with Tron, so to not have them in the game in some form is like making a Star Wars game without lightsabers.
We’ll know for sure how the finally product pans out when Tron Run/r is released on February 16th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is a download only and will cost $20.
