Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 Dev Diary Shows Off New Characters

A new dev diary for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, the sequel to the original Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, discusses the new characters that will be joining the original cast. You can check out the video below.

Although some of these characters were shown off previously, such as Kerneal Corn and Rose, it’s nice to see them all in action in a match. Lead Designer Chris Fox walks players through these six classes, showing off their strengths, weakness, and what they bring to the battle. The six new characters are Imp and Z-Mech, Super Brainz, and Captain Deadbeard on the Zombie side, while the plants get  Rose, Kernel Corn, and Citron. The final game will have 14 playable classes to choose from, with over 100 characters to choose from. That’s a lot of Garden Warfare.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year. The original is currently available now for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
