Pokémon Go Adds 5,000 New PokeStops

Pokémon Go is getting some new PokeStops. How many new stops? Try 5,000 new places to grab items for you to go and visit.

These 5,000 locations are part of a collaboration between Niantic and Starbucks, which said that 7,800 of the coffee maker’s stores will be added to the game and turned into PokeStops and Gyms, but that’s not all. As part of this special deal, certain Starbucks will have a “special-edition Pokémon Go Frappuchino” that players can buy while they’re out catching new mon and challenging Gyms. However, this drink is limited to certain Starbucks, so don’t be surprised if they don’t have it at the one you usually go to.

Pokémon Go is available now for iOS and Android devices. While these locations are fine, fans are currently waiting to see what new events Niantic has with the game, the last being the holiday event that added some of the Generation 2 Pokémon, albeit the baby forms of them like Pichu and Togepi.
