Resident Evil 7 May Be A PlayStation VR Exclusive For One Year

It seems that Resident Evil 7 will be on the PlayStation VR for at least one year before it could see the light of day on other headsets. This news comes form the small print on a Facebook add that has since been posted over on Reddit.

A Reddit user found the ad that states that PlayStation VR users will get the game for VR headsets at least one year earlier than anyone else. While Capcom has yet to announce what other headsets Resident Evil 7 will appear on, it is very likely it will find its way on the Vive and Rift sometime after that exclusivity period is up.

Of course, this exclusivity is only referring to the VR aspect of the game. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will be able to play the regular game at the same time. Resident Evil 7 is set to launch January 24th, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
