Catherine O’Hara (Delia Deetz)
We’ve covered Catherine O’Hara previously in our look at the Home Alone cast, but we just can’t get enough of this talented actress. Born into a family of seven kids, O’Hara had to step up to be known and, boy, did she succeed as the New York yuppie, Delia Deetz. O’Hara landed her first gig in 1975 on Wayne and Shuster, a TV series. She went on to star as Kate McCallister, the overbearing mother in Home Alone and Home Alone II: Lost in New York, as well as a number of other film and voice acting roles. She was the voice of Sally in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
