StarCraft II’s Nova Covert Ops Revolves Around Betrayal

A short new trailer by Blizzard shows off just a small portion of what players can expect from the next chapter of the StarCraft universe, Nova Covert Ops. You can check out the trailer below.

Nova Covert Ops is a set of missions that involve the hero in a tragic story of betrayal and vengeance. The expansion is set to tell its story over nine single-player missions with the first to release March 29.  In order to give fans a nice incentive to pre-order, Blizzard is offering players who pre-order the entire package an in-game portrait as well as covert ops skins for StarCraft II.

StarCraft II is the popular RTS that release back in July of 2010 to critical acclaim. The game has since released two expansions that focus on the playable races. Nova Covert Ops is a standalone side story to StarCraft II and does not require StarCraft II to play, making it a great starting point for those curious about the series.  StarCraft II is currently available for PC.
