Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones

Steven Spielberg Hints at Indiana Jones 5 With Harrison Ford

Apparently, Steven Spielberg thinks that an Indiana Jones 5 with Harrison Ford could happen!

The subject came up during a recent interview for his film Bridge of Spies. Speaking with Yahoo! Movies, Spielberg mentioned that Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford are tied for the most Spielberg films, but Indiana Jones 5 may be the tiebreaker.

5 Things Disney Needs to Do To Make Indiana Jones 5 Great

“We’ve gotta figure this out because now, Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies,” Spielberg said. “Now I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison, [so] it’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom.

“I’ve got to make another one with Tom, that’ll be five for Tom, five for Harrison. And I think I’m going to leapfrog that way for the rest of my career. With Daniel Day-Lewis in everything else!”

A fifth Indiana Jones film has been planned for awhile now, but no script or production schedule has been finalized as of yet. Based on Spielberg’s comments, though, there’s strong hope for a Harrison Ford role in Indy 5!
