Warning, Major Spoilers!

The season 1 finale of ‘Agents of SHIELD’ starts off in a lab. There are two men who have built it from the ground up, and they continue to build. One is interviewing and the other is looking for a job, it turns out. Incentives must be nice. There are a handful of people who have a project and it is live. When there is a group of people on camera, it is a team that is hated. This team is made up of the former agents of SHIELD.

The other agents are bringing home the bacon, and make a few moves to bring the house down. Agent Coulson grabs Triplett off the ground and May is whacking pillars down, causing the ceiling to crash in.

On the phone, Garrett has a team and he could care less about what is going on. He has his own plan and it requires a nail. Something sharp, anyone? Raina and Quinn are chatting in the back about Garrett. He is a crazed super soldier and it scares Quinn, but Raina thinks about the incentives program. Garrett seems to be losing it, but these thoughts – word vomit. Ward is worried and is reassured that Garrett feels alive. Ward wants to know more of a plan, and it is an uprising. After, Ward is giving a choice, and he must do what makes him comfortable.

Skye has informed them that Trojan Horse has worked and there are eyes on HYDRA. Coulson seems to know that there is a tracker on the plan and it worries them. Fitz and Gemma are on the plan, but where? Hopefully, they are okay.

Fitz and Simmons are in a supply closet, in the bottom of the ocean. Gemma was sound asleep and Fitz has been trying to think of a plan. Fitz has been calculating the math, 90 feet down, no way out, and it may be their last chance. No one is there to save them, either.

Coulson and the team are gearing up for a trek and they must stick together, change the world. May isn’t ready to change the world, she wants to kick some ass. That works!

Deathlok is back on screen with Raina and Ward. There must be something going on with them and Raina heads into the room with Garrett. It’s the room with the magnetic field in a box, it’s magic, perhaps even hypnotic. Cybertech, evolution, there is so much more than meets the eye. Raina has questions and Garrett is ready to reveal the answers written behind his eyes. What?

Gemma is looking outside the window, hungry, and scared. Fitz is hoping that he it will be okay, but is hungry as well. Energy, the particles and how their lives will affect the world. Monkeys? Gemma has a way with words, and is thinking that the glass will be a source, or at least a seal. It turns out there is a small way to get out, but will it?

At the Cybernetic sub-section, a prototype will change a soldier to one hundred percent. Quinn wants to add more tables, have a chance to operate on 100 men a day.

Triplett and Coulson are on the ground, scouting. They through a nifty little toy for distraction and then are behind them, taking them down one-by-one. Oh yeah, baby! Coulson takes the wheel, Triplett launches an RPG, blasting a hole in the wall. May and Skye are ready to get inside. On the inside, the alarms are going off, gun fire, and the military refuses to open the check book. Garrett, on the other hand, has a strategy to bring someone in and operate right then and there. A demonstration perhaps? Garrett punches the General and picks him up by his throat. It is the beginning. He pulls a part of him out and then beats him with it.

Ward and Raina are chatting about the next plan. Skye is next and Ward wants to know why? Skye detests him, thinks he is a monster and Raina thinks he can change, just to help take the plan to a whole new idea. There is a darkness and Skye’s nature will reveal itself. Perchance, monsters together?

Coulson and Triplett are in the vehicle and there are a couple of men hitting the windows. Skye walks in with a back pack, May checks around her with a gun, having Skye’s back. Bombs go boom! Coulson and Triplett bring out the guns and the men on the truck get a message. Defend Garrett.

Inside, Ward is asking Garrett for orders and Deathlok is standing there, waiting for his next move. Garrett answers the phone and it is Skye. Such a peach. Skye wants to outsmart Garrett and it seems that Skye could have the upper hand until she learns that Fitz and Gemma are under the ocean. Ward’s orders – get her. Garrett despises him and Deathlok’s orders have been to not leave his side. Interesting, since he should have some sort of other orders to help protect HYDRA.

Back under the ocean, Gemma and Fitz are ready to go. Fitz has an oxygen machine ready and Gemma must take a deep breath after water rushes in, and swim up 90 feet and save herself. Fitz has done the math, he’s okay with this. He wants her to live and Gemma is upset with the news. The two hug and Gemma kisses him. Fitz wants them to hurry. He hits the button, water rushes in and she grabs Fitz, swimming to the top of the water, screaming for help. Fury is in a helicopter, and pulls her and Fitz out of the water. Hey, Mr. Fury, we’ve been waiting for you.

Gemma wakes up in decompression, and Fury is there to greet her. FITZ! He is alive, but barely, and Gemma needs to be contained for a little. Fury is glad that they had a makeshift beacon. Smart. Where’s Coulson?

Skye is on the radio and has a man held captive. Let us guess, he is there for the incentives program? Ward comes in, holding his pistol to her, wanting to take her in. Ward is weak, doing whatever he is ordered to do. Skye has something on him and Ward wants something for himself…Skye? She isn’t afraid of him and with a bomb will not be the one to destroy him, she has something better. He slept with her and she is massively pissed off. Skye grabs the man in the chair, let’s talk incentives. Ward and May are slapping around some punches and Ward has her. He may have an upper hand, but not for long.

Coulson slams in with a punch, throwing him into the catwalk. He looks up, Fury is standing there. What? It turns out that Fury has a weapon that packs a damn good punch. Coulson knows just what to do. Lead fires, Garrett looks up and is still breathing. Damn it!

May and Ward are at it and he has a buzz saw, of course, he was never on top. Kinky! Bam! Whack! Ka-pow! Coulson only sees one dead guy, Garrett is impressed with the thought they have. No big picture, timeless frozen ocean and there is so much more than that. Fury was never informed that Garrett was that crazy. May grabs a nail gun. Ouch. Sucks to be Ward. May even kicks him around a few times and I think that vengeance has taken over. Skye has the man and takes him to a room. She unlocks a door and his wife is in a room. The two kiss. Skye is looking for something. The ace in the hole.

Coulson and Fury are confused about the key to the universe, this entire HYDRA operation. Deathlok on the other hand raises his hand metal comes inside. Skye is with Deathlok’s son and Skye wants proof. It turns out that Skye has been ordering Deathlok this entire time. A message comes across his view, and instead of aiming at Coulson and Fury, he aims at Garrett, firing. He is weakened, bringing him to the ground. What the hell? It looks like SHIELD gets ten points.

Garrett is dead, and they will take him a part, part by part. Ward on the other hand can’t speak and May feels good about it. Ward gets to wrestle with another thought for the rest of his time, perhaps jail.

Skye wants Deathlok to see his son, but is ashamed of who he has become. Skye knows he did what he did for Ace, and Deathlok has to live with it.

In the wearhouse, Garrett rises, bloody. He lays in a chair and the robots take over. Garrett screams in pain. He steps out and feels damn good. I guess he wasn’t dead after all and Garrett is unstoppable. Coulson was grabbing a weapon and takes Garrett. It was there all along.

On the bus, Coulson is livid, wishing he could trust more and Fury has intentions all along. There is truth in all of us, SHIELD was a lot and Coulson was lead, now he is head. Fury hands him a tool box, rebuild SHIELD from the ground up and he must do it right. May would never leave his back. Coulson wants to know the right direction to head in, but as director, he has full control. May wants to know where Fury will be heading. He will be disappearing for a while. Fury will be everywhere.

Gemma is boarding the plan and the team is more than glad to have her back. Fitz is alive and fighting. The team heads onto another secret base and another Koenig is there, Billy. Lanyards will be handed out accordingly and there is a whole new place to start.

Raina walks into a room, never thinking she would be seen again and it turns out that Skye has been found. This unknown person is a parent.

Coulson, sleeping, wakes up and walks into a room full of boxes, and evidence from the day’s events. Coulson takes a pocket knife and begins etching a plan (or something) into the walls. Whatever it is, we will not know until this fall.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Iain de Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Gemma Simmons and Chloe Bennet as Skye. The Agents will be back, rebuilt and stronger than ever this fall for season two!
