The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Improves With New PC Update

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition has received a new update on PC. Along with some general stability fixes, it also improves performance on 144hz monitors. This is great for those who spend the coin to get a top tier gaming monitor.

The new 1.3 update improves performance on 144hz monitors, improve stability, and fixes an issue where players were unable to log into bethesda.net. It is good to see a huge complaint about Skyrim Special Edition get eradicated in the new update now that the game should run much better on 144hz monitors.

Here are the full patch notes for update 1.3:

  • General stability and performance improvements
  • Fixed an issue where Slow Time effects weren’t behaving properly
  • Better support for 144hz displays
  • Fixed issue with being unable to log into Bethesda.net

Currently, this new update is only available on PC. However, Bethesda has noted that the update will come to consoles “later”. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is available now for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
