The PlayStation 4 Slim 1 TB model is coming to the US this month. The model has been in Europe since 2016, but going forward, it looks that this will be the new system in the US.
The news comes from PlayStation’s Twitter account, which announced that the system will be made available in the US later this month. The system will have an MSRP of $299, which is interesting when you consider that this is also the cost of the default 500 GB model. What could this mean? Is it possible that the 500 GB model is being slowly phased out?
Whatever the case may be, this seems like a perfect time to get a PS4 Slim, especially for this who want a PS4 to play the variety of games for the system, but who aren’t excited about the fancy bells, whistles, and upgrades that come with a Pro. Alternatively, it’s possible that you can get the 500 GB model and just get an external, but that’s not exactly ideal either. In any case, the new PlayStation 4 Slim model comes out later this month.
