The new and improved Mortal Kombat XL dropped today for the PS4 and Xbox One. MKXL includes all content featured in the original Kombat Pack and Kombat Pack 2 containing extra skins and playable characters. With its new and expanded version we thought it was just about the right time to collect the best of MK fatalities. Not just any standard top 5 or top 10 lists, but the most gruesome fatalities to ever come out of the MK universe. Let’s get started!
5. Jade’s Half Mast
Jade’s Half Mast fatality opens up our gruesome fatality countdown in an emphatic way. Not only does she prop her foe on her weapon of choice, the staff, but she manages to rip the head off and ever so pleasantly place on the tip of the staff. Nice work Jade!
4. Noob Saibot Body Split
Good old Noob Saibot, my childhood favorite MK character. It has to be the black outfit. Nevertheless, Noobie, as I like to call him, decides to create a mirror image of himself and play some tug of war. The loser of this game is the victim that is clearly not going to be the same again. Ouch.
3. Kenshi Split Ends
Kenshi, the Daredevil sword wielding wannabe, feels as though he could really use that sword to good use. He flings his Sentō face down and then thinks it would be cool to toss his adversary directly at it, head first! The result is not too pleasant. Well done sir, well done.
2. Goro’s Torn Apart
The first time I witnessed Goro in the original Mortal Kombat movie I’m sure I had nightmares for at least a month straight. He still terrifies me to this day and after choosing this fatality as number 2, the nightmares are coming back that’s for sure. Just watch this 4 armed freak do what he does best.
1. Kung Lao Sawblade
And the winner is…..Kung Lao for the most gruesome fatality of all time! Seriously though, this video makes me look away every time he starts dragging his opponent towards the sawblade. Whether you are a male or female, this image is a little too disturbing. Good job Mr. Lao. A word of advice to everyone, don’t piss him off!
