Titanfall 2 Release Date Accidentally Revealed Ahead Of EA’s Press Conference

Ahead of their press conference, EA has released a new trailer for Titanfall 2, which now has a firm October release date as well as details about the game’s single player campaign. Of course, these details were only revealed after someone accidentally releasing said trailer on YouTube earlier this morning.

During a rehearsal of EA’s press conference earlier this morning, someone accidentally put said rehearsal up on YouTube, which introduced six new mechs with their own abilities and a firm October release date. EA quickly took down the video, but the damage was done. Instead of denying the release date, EA instead decided to release a trailer for the single player, which you can check out below. This trailer highlights a new mech, which has it’s own unique AI, with gameplay that focuses on both fighting in the mech and out of it, with both protaginst Jack Cooper and the mech working together to overcome obstacles, such as Cooper being thrown to a far off wall that he can run across.

Titanfall 2 is set to release on October 28th, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Expect to hear more about the game at EA’s press conference, which takes place at 1 PM Pacific Time.
