Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America Crossover Details

Tuesday’s episode of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” brought much chaos with the “Thor: The Dark World” crossover and, before too much longer, we will have a new crossover with the Captain himself. What will the storyline bring, you ask? Don’t fret. We have it covered.

Executive producer Jed Whedon sat down with TV Guide to talk about the next tv/film crossover. “We’re trying to flesh out the world. The Marvel brand carries with it a lot of familiar faces. We’re trying to flesh out the world of S.H.I.E.L.D. with the established characters and the characters we’re introducing to build out the larger organization that we operate in. That’s where some of the fun can be had.”

Whedon also confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson will be in the episode. “Nick Fury [Samuel L. Jackson] is in that one, and S.H.I.E.L.D. makes an appearance, so we will definitely try to tee-up some stuff and probably play a little bit of the fallout from that film. We’re hoping to do some cool stuff.”

We have had an interesting and roller-coaster season thus far, but Coulson is back from the dead with no explanation as to how he is even walking? Theories will come and go but Whedon said “We’re just trying to come up with ways to make it surprising or make it not how they expected it to unravel”. Hopefully, they will come up with a plot that does just that.
